Victorian ash, solid brass hexagonal bar, repurposed woollen blanket.

This general purpose cabinet is inspired by a warm place to rest, either physically or emotionally. The original fabric is a repurposed woolen blanket gifted to me from my best friends mother; passing through 3 generations of women and two families. The cabinet seeks to subvert and soften geometric forms and their associated symbolic use with a feminine, familial and mysterious nostalgia.

Purchasers of the cabinet can provide their own sentimental blanket/fabric for the upholstery.
