In celebration of cultural diversity during Harmony Week, 15-21 March 2016.

 

This map is intended to be interactive. Participants are asked to visualise the sky in the place they were born and to choose a swatch from the hand-painted swatch book of over 800 colours. On the swatch they write the name of the place and a few key words describing a memory, their culture or an impression. The swatch is then stuck to the map to gradually create a 'sky' across the map, obscuring the drawing and with it the world's borders.
